仲夏炙熱的本周是非洲氣候周(Africa Climate Week)，這是第28次聯合國氣候大會(COP28)之前的四個地區(周)之一，同時也是第一次全球評估的結束。與此同時，肯亞內羅華舉行的非洲氣候高峰會(Africa Climate Summit)齊聚非洲各國，共同制定減緩氣候與適應戰略的國際規範。

據估計，有1.4%至35%的氣候行動資金因貪腐問題而流失，現實情況是：許多接受氣候資金的國家存在諸多貪腐問題。
